Body Concert is a Pilates studio in Carlton run by Kasia Lynch.

We began the process of designing the website with charcoal drawings, hand-drawn together over summer in the studio, a way of translating the felt experience of a class into image before we began the very digital process of designing a site. Those drawings, alongside teacher Kasia's unique way of using language to help students visualise their bodies “in concert” became the basis of the site's language — hand-made marks against a clean, functional foundation. 

The outcome balances a booking site sitting inside an atmosphere that still feels unmistakably Body Concert. Video and photography depict the reality of the studio space and those who teach there, while the underlying structure handles everything a growing studio actually needs: timetables, memberships, class types, events, mentorships.

The site now is able to offer the studio the visibility and functionality it was missing without asking it to become something it isn't. A considered, connected space, now legible to people who'd never stepped inside it.

The site echoes, as Kasia puts it, "the energy of our studio’s experience" and finally answers, for anyone who'd ever wondered, who Body Concert is and what happens up there. And of course, invite them in with a Welcome Offer.  🦢
